About Us
ATLANTIC COAST PEDIATRICS was the first pediatric practice in Cocoa
Beach Florida in the early 1960's. The practice began with Dr. Eugene
Hadden and his close friend and associate Dr. Heimer. He was joined
through the years by Dr. Van Vonderen and later Dr. Harlow. The practice
spread to Merritt Island in the 1980's when pediatrics reached across the
bridge and in early 1990's Dr. Mike Radu joined the practice when Dr.
VanVonderen retired. Dr. Radu has since left the practice to join his wife in
a medical practice at another site. In 1992, Dr. Luis Gonzalez came to ACP
from Arnold Palmer Hospital where he served as chief resident. In 1993, Dr.
Lisa Cosgrove joined ACP after having a pediatric practice in Little Rock,
Arkansas. A welcome addition to our office came in 1995 when Donna
Calvelli, ARNP joined the practice after working in Weustoff''s nursery for
many years and graduating from the University of Miami School of Nursing
in 1979.
Atlantic Coast Pediatrics is a multicultural practice serving children from
nations across the globe. We have a staff who can meet the needs of our
Spanish-speaking population with their interpreting services.
